Exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, which is also often referred to as AECB is a condition where the symptoms of the ailment suddenly take a turn for the worse. Here, not only do the symptoms become more severe, but they their frequency of appearance increases as well. This is a serious condition because though bronchitis as a disease will not be fatal, but it can cause a lot of problems nevertheless.
